Research Interests

Bradford’s research centered on public sector economics and he is particularly noted as an authority on taxation. His published papers addressed a wide range of topics, including investigations of public utility pricing, criteria for public investment, the economic structure of urban areas as well as environmental economics and the relationship between economic development and environmental quality. David died Feb. 22, 2005 from extensive injuries sustained while escaping from a fire in his home two weeks earlier.
