Research Interests
Allison studies atmosphere-ocean interactions, and has a broad set of interests ranging from internal variability to long-term changes in the climate system. Her recent work includes a study on how the dynamics of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation lead to global temperature changes, and others asking how the amplification of spatial patterns of precipitation and evaporation with global warming will affect (and is already affecting) ocean biogeochemistry.
