Research Interests
I am developing new biogeochemical processes in the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) global land model in order to investigate how microbial dynamics, plant-soil interactions, and nitrogen availability affect ecosystem productivity and carbon storage. I also use eddy covariance and other measurements to study ecosystem responses to drought and other climatic perturbations.
