Postdoctoral Research Associate.

Research focuses on how marine phytoplankton, and to a lesser extent bacteria, acquire and process nutrients (primarily carbon and iron), and how, in turn, the availability of these nutrients alters the abundance and distribution of marine microorganisms; mechanisms phytoplankton use to acquire CO₂ for photosynthesis, and the effects of rising CO₂ on the physiology and ecology of marine phytoplankton.
