Research Interests
My research focuses on the role of soil hydrology and biophysics in developing the terrestrial water and energy cycle, with an emphasis on the hydraulic continuum among distinct water regimes in the Earth’s surface and subsurface. My approach combines typically field/remote sensing observations with physically-based models to understand the importance of considered hydraulic continuity in the representation of the water-controlled land system.
